REPORT ON HUMANITARIAN AID FOR MIGRANT MINORS

Archbishop Gustavo asked us to join together as a community of faith to offer what we could in support of a humanitarian aid project for migrant minors.
With several individuals carting our donations from the Church to the Parish Hall after Masses all weekend and over 30 volunteers sorting items,
we witnessed a multiplication of our loaves and fish!

Using very large trash-can bags, our Parish Family donated:
60 bags of children's clothing
6 bags of children's shoes
5 bags of underwear
4 bags + 32 boxes of diapers
2 bags of baby food
3 bags + 22 boxes of other food
12 bags + 10 boxes of toiletries
45 bags of adult clothing, shoes, accessories
7 bags of toys, sports equipment, books and more.

8 drivers carried our gifts to Catholic Charities Monday afternoon; one driver even made two separate runs for us. Together with some spontaneous financial donations, the Good News was proclaimed in truth and deed!

Thanks to all!  LB
